South Asia LPG Company donates Microscope to Sankar Foundation
South Asia LPG Company Pvt. Ltd., India’s first underground LPG storage cavern providing secure and reliable energy storage solutions, has extended its support to Sankar Foundation in their mission to excel in eye care. As part of their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, SA LPG has donated a state-of-the-art microscope and funded a door-to-door free eye screening camp for the Foundation, at a total cost of ₹60 lakhs.
The microscope was inaugurated today by Sri Naveen Makhija, CEO of SA LPG, at Sankar Foundation in the presence of Sri Vikas Verma (CFO), Sri K Radhakrishnan (GM, Sankar Foundation), Sri Ramnath (Manager, CSR), Sri V Ramesh Kumar (DGM, PC & CR), Sri KV Venugopal, DGM, Sankar Foundation and other distinguished doctors. During the event, Sri Makhija commended that Sankar Foundation’s efforts in combating avoidable blindness across rural, tribal, and urban areas.
Sri K Krishna Kumar, Managing Trustee of Sankar Foundation, expressed heartfelt gratitude to SA LPG for their continued support in strengthening the hospital’s infrastructure.

( Late) Dr. Kumar studied Law and Economics at the Andhra University, Visakhapatnam and Chennai. He was a Chartered Accountant of repute with offices in Visakhapatnam, Hyderabad and Chennai.




Smt. K. Mani Mala is a postgraduate holding an MBA. She started her career as a founder faculty of one of the first management colleges in Visakhapatnam, viz. Indian Institute of Advanced Management. She worked with East India Petroleum Limited as its first employee and as Executive Assistant to the Managing Director. She was also associated in establishing the Joint Venture with M/s SHV Energy of Netherlands as General Manager (MIS). During her tenure she was also associated with other group companies such as 16 MW & 450 MW gas-based power projects in AP and 16 MW & 100 MW hydel power plants in Himachal Pradesh.
