Sankar Foundation Eye Hospital’s Gajuwaka Centre in Visakhapatnam Inaugurated
Sri P Doraiswamy, Brandix India partner formally inaugurated Sankar Foundation Eye Hospital’s Gajuwaka Centre, Visakhapatnam on 22 January 2024.
Sri Doraiswamy was apprised of the latest facilities in the hospital and witnessed the OT equipment and other facilities incorporated in the centre. He was very much impressed with the facilities and appreciated the management of Sankar Foundation for serving society in the elimination of avoidable blindness.
The newly upgraded Gajiwaka Centre is a well-equipped eye care centre with full-fledged latest operation theatres, treatment and investigation services for all kinds of eye ailments catering to the needs of the industrial area of Gajuwaka.
Addressing the gathering, Sri Doraiswamy spoke about the long association Brandix has with Sankar Foundation in the eye care needs of the poor and needy.
He exhorted Sankar Foundation to provide more services to the community and be comparable with national standards in eye care management.
Dr Prakash, Chief GM (Medical), Dr Sarangi, GM (Medical) Vizag Steel Plant were the guests of honour.
Sri Atmakuri Krishna Kumar, Sri A Vijaya Kumar, Executive Trustees, Sankar Foundation; Sri K Radhakrishnan, GM (Admn & Operations), Dr Nasrin, Dr Sirisha, Dr Mamatha, Dr Subba Rao and senior officials of Sankar Foundation Eye Hospital were present on the occasion.
Earlier, Sri Doraiswamy was felicitated by Sri Krishna Kumar, Sri Vijaya Kumar, Sri Radhakrishnan, Sri K Bangar Raju. Sri Venugopal, Sri SKL Rao, Sri NLK Sastry and others were present to mark the occasion.




















( Late) Dr. Kumar studied Law and Economics at the Andhra University, Visakhapatnam and Chennai. He was a Chartered Accountant of repute with offices in Visakhapatnam, Hyderabad and Chennai.




Smt. K. Mani Mala is a postgraduate holding an MBA. She started her career as a founder faculty of one of the first management colleges in Visakhapatnam, viz. Indian Institute of Advanced Management. She worked with East India Petroleum Limited as its first employee and as Executive Assistant to the Managing Director. She was also associated in establishing the Joint Venture with M/s SHV Energy of Netherlands as General Manager (MIS). During her tenure she was also associated with other group companies such as 16 MW & 450 MW gas-based power projects in AP and 16 MW & 100 MW hydel power plants in Himachal Pradesh.
